• What is a Nickname?
A username is the name you create for yourself, that other members will identify you by on Dreammatch.co.za. Choose a name that represents a characteristic of your personality, that is unique to you, or that is simply easy to remember.
• Nickname Guidelines?
When creating your nickname, it is very important that you adhere to the following guidelines.
No Vulgarity, profanity or otherwise offensive words.
No more than 4 numerical digits consecutively (i.e. 2323445)
No contact information (i.e. Tel , cell numbers email address)
No advertising for other websites or business.
All member profiles are audited before being displayed. If your Nickname does not meet our guidelines, it may be rejected or deleted from our site.
• Why do I need a password?
A password is required to protect your confidential information on your profile. It also prevents other users using your account fro free if you are a paying member. Your password should be no less than 6 characters long, and we suggest you make it something unique to you, but easy to remember. Please note your password will be case sensitive.
• What e-mail Address should I use?
You should use your own personal e-mail address to create your profile, as this where we will contact you regarding all inquires, newsletters and promotions.
It is recommended that you not use you corporate e-mail accounts as we find these are sometimes blocked by mail scanning applications. This will prevent you from receiving cupid mails and matches from the site.
• What do I have access to as a free member?
Once you have joined for free you will be able to browse all the profiles, and photos on our site all the site features will be free, all we ask is that you use the site to interact rather than a method to get contact details.
• How do I complete the description portion of my profile?
A basic description typically includes your interest, words that best describe you, and the type of person you are. Remember this is your space to define who you really are.
• How do I complete my ideal match description of my profile?
Here you need to tell people what you feel your are looking for in a person, likes dislikes etc… You message should be clear and descriptive in order to fine the right match.
